Topic: Access WebGUI from LAN serving WAN port  (Read 3703 times)

Monowall's WAN port is connected to a DSL modem/router used for our internal network at 192.168.1.1. Monowall/s WAN port is configured at 192.168.10.1 and connects to the network via DHCP. Monowall's LAN port serves a public hotspot using the captive portal.

For the life of me I can't figure out how to access the WebGUI from the internal LAN. I've disabled private network blocking and tried a number of different source and target addresses to no avail.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

usually if you enable captive portal it must be login pass captive first and then can access to your webGUI

The WebGUI IP will pass through the portal just fine. That wasn't my question, I need to come in through the WAN port.

ISP <---> DSL Modem/Router <---192.168.1.1---> WAN--Monowall--LAN <---192.168.10.1---> WAP

In modem router NAT>Virtual Server create Rule port forward to 192.168.10.1 Ex.(Port 10050)

Rule     Application     Start Port     End Port      Local IP Address
1       WebGUI      10050      10050      192.168.10.1

And then on Rule>WAN of monowall create Rule

Pass  Source         Destination                                 port
TCP     *                192.168.x.x(monowall LAN IP)   10050
