I keep getting this message every time I connect with PPPoE.. anybody knows what does that mean ?
I also experienced packet loss with ping, needing to reconnect several times when everything went smooth.. is this from my ISP or should I change something in m0n0wall?..

I take it you have a DSL connection. Did you have connection problems before using the M0n0wall? Did you use the modem provided by the ISP? What's the error message, session in wrong state? I've never used a M0n0wall for PPPoE. But your ISP may have the correct settings/username/ etc that may solve your problem. Adtrans are finicky with DSL at times, too. When you get the settings right it's spot on. There are places where DSL connections are just plain awful and the ISP will tell you everything is fine. If nothing else, try to get a straight connection to your phone line from the point of entry instead of using the existing old-fashioned phone cable that's 10 or more years old. There's only one pair of wires you will need to use so it's not rocket science.
