I´m starting to write a book about m0n0wall in portuguese languages, its more directed to help users setup m0n0wall in a small wireless ISP.

this is the abstract (not revised):

ABSTRACT

This book was written due to the verified lack of literature about small wireless internet service providers, and it does have as its objective help network admins to install, configure and keep a small internet service provider using the m0n0wall integrated firewall. This tool is based on the FreeBSD operational system and as such, is very robust and stable, being more than enought to sustain the demands of a small to medium internet service provider. The software choosen is possessed of many advanced resources and functions, some of them only disponible on higher end, costlier, paid softwares, whose prices would be much higher than what is possible by the realities of a small enterprise. Capable of controlling the internet access througt a tool called “Captive Portal”, and connected to a RADIUS server, the m0n0wall is a effective tool to control network security and accontability. In this book we will study a step by step approach of the configuration as well as a discussion of some management policies and their consequences on the development of an ISP. We will study all options displayed by the webmin screens of m0n0wall – whose administration is almost all done by web – with the stated objective of allowing the reader to be able to, after reading this book, experiment alone, and at once, with the multiple alternatives and functions provided by this software.

For the 2nd chapter i need screenshots of the system and so, this points me to a question :

Can i use the screenshots of m0n0wall in my book ?

I also need good screenshots of real world m0n0wall usage under various setups (for example: i cannot setup m0n0wall with bigpond WAN just because theres no bigpond - i dont  even know what is this - around here...).

Thank you in advance.

Check out this page.  Monowall is Copyright to Manuel Kasper.  I'm sure he would be keen to see it documented in Portuguese.  There is an email link on the top of the page I directed you to, send him a mail.
