Hello,

I have a PC Engines ALIX board with an Atheros card in one of the miniPCI slots.  I am using m0n0wall 1.3b9.

I would like this to connect to an access point and bridge to a local 100bT connection similar to a game adapter like this

I currently have the WAN=ath0, LAN=vr0.  The WAN is in BSS mode, with SSID of my access point I am connecting to.

I can connect to the access point and receive a DHCP address.  My AP shows the MAC of the m0n0 box as being connected.

However, I cannot ping my AP's IP address, or any IP beyond there on the WAN or LAN interface of the m0n0 box.

The Status/Interfaces page shows Status:Associated, and I have a new IP address every time I Release/Renew the WAN(ath0) interface.

What am I doing wrong?  Is this a hardware issue of some sort?

I have also tried a Static WAN IP address, with no benefit.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

P.S. I am currently using another ALIX 2C0 with an Atheros card as an access point/bridge using OPT1=ath0 with VLAN in AP mode, and bridging it to the LAN(vr0).  It works great!
