I'm experiencing a very odd issue.. Up until 6pm or so two days ago - I was able to access
www.midwestlanparty.com perfectly fine. I was in the process of updating the forum software/modifying a few things when the FTP connection to the server stopped responding, and then I noticed HTTP was down as well. Thinking that the server was just down - I pinged it, and go no response.
Alright, I gave up for the day. The next day I noticed it worked fine from work and using my cellphone's internet connection - when I got home I tried it again, still no response. By this time I was already going through the basic debugging motions, making sure the IP resolves and seeing if other people on the same ISP can access the site. It seems like it's only me having the issue accessing it.
I looked through my m0n0wall config just to ensure that nothing was recently changed (I haven't touched the config in a couple months, and the last thing I added was a NAT entry for a 1024+ port). I restored to a backup config I had made at one point, still nothing. I found nothing in the config that could explain why that site and only that site was blocked.
I disconnected the m0n0wall and plugged my Macbook directly in to the cable modem. The site works perfectly, no issues. 0.o
I've tried a factory reset - to no avail. Nothing seems to allow me to connect to that site, and for some reason when I take the m0n0wall out of the equation - everything works as expected. No other sites seem to be affected by this issue, and frankly I'm just stumped at this point.
If anyone could offer some insight I'd much appreciate it.
