hello all,

since i've changed my ISP i have some probs with my upstream.
my guaranteed downstream is 30 mbit
my guaranteed upstream is 2 mbit

when i use my wrap-board (with monowall 1.3b10) the upstream wont work correctly. it starts with 2 mbit and after 2 seconds it only works with 0,6 mbit. even rebooting my wrapboard don't helps.
my downstream ist working fine.

when i connect my pc drictly to the internet (without my wrapboard) the upstream ist working fine all the time.

is anyone here who can help me?

thanks

rUmti

I think the poster may be German?  ist = is Wink

rUmtifUsel, can you please  post more details on your WAN connection, your m0n0 config, are you using traffic shaper? What is the CPU usage on your wrap board? Are you downloading at the same time as uploading?  30/2 WAN connection probably won't give you any upload speed at all if you are using all 30mb down because all of the upload bandwidth is taken up by ACKs.

100 Mbps only needs 2 Mbps for ACKS, so 30 Mbps would only need (2 X 30 / 100) = 0.6 Mbps, so well within the upload range.
