I have been wondering what's the highest bandwidth anyone has pulled through a monowall.
I know it's a function of the platform you're running on, I was just wondering if anyone got bored and installed monowall on a core duo 2 with some server NIC adapters.....fiber or something else fast.

Also, is there any maximum number of ports monowall can handle?  I don't mean TCP/IP ports, I mean the physcial media connections.  I've seen WAN LAN and OPT1 configs, but could you have as many as 8 or so "OPTs" if you had the hardware for it?

I'm building a SAN/NAS kind of thing, I was going to try to base it on monowall and freenas, I need to know these answers before I can go on.

thanks
