I'd like to know how it works if I configure my switch with lets say three VLAN'S, that will later on all have a separate subnet (maybe 192.168.0.0/28, 192.168.0.16/28, 192.168.0.32/28).
If I create these three VLAN's and want to assign them the addresses described above, how do I do that in M0n0wall?
Does it instantly see that "wow, now we have three VLAN's created on one of my interfaces, lets show them in the GUI so the guy can configure them as he wishes with separate DHCP-server settings on each subinterface and routing/NAT'ing/Firewalling between them"?
Just like a "router on a stick" configuration that is.
The switch (that still hasn't arrived) supports 802.1q.
MANY thanks
Cant find ANY info on this, yet its not something very exotic I believe...
