Hi.
In the next week I'm planning to upgrade my static IP connections at branch offices to PPPoE connections because my ISP requires this.
My question is:
Is it possible to maintain a 24h/day connection with PPPoE and m0n0 ? I know my ISP disconnects the connection once 24h but will m0n0wall reconnect automatically  Huh
I'm planning to use m0n0 1.3b12.
TIA for answers  Smiley

m0n0wall has the option to automatically reconnect.

I run m0n0wall since more than a year now with 24/7 powered up, and it never failed, but I asume that you will connect with a *DSL modem and I must say, that I have not found a good modem that not would need a reset after some months of operation.

If you found one, write me please Smiley

Regards

Thanks for info  Grin

As for the modem. Right now I'm using Siemens Speedstream 4100 DSL Modem without problems.
