Hello

we are contemplating to use 2 m0n0walls (ALIX.2C1) to protect the DMZ from the outside
and additional m0n0wall to protect/devide the internal network from the DMZ.

Question:
Does m0n0wall use some kind of color coding/schemes for the internal network and the DMZ?

Thank's a lot in advance for any feedback!

John

PS
I do not yet have any experiences with m0n0wall

Not really sure what you mean by color coding schemes, unless you are referring to what Smoothwall uses, in which case the answer is no - m0n0wall doesn't use this - you get to make up the names yourself. You can view many of the screenshots in the quickstart guide and handbook.

As to using two m0n0walls for your stated purposes, this is not necessary. One m0n0wall will do fine with three interfaces. Again, see the example configuration in the handbook, section 13.1.
