Hello List,

First I setup Freeradius on a Debian Sarge system with the apt-get stable freeradius package.
After using this for a while with MW pptp and captive portal I saw in te MW logs that mppe wasn't working.
It seemed that de TLS module was missing in freeradius because of the openssl license.

We’ll assume you’ve already installed Debian Linux, which at the time of this article is 4.0r2 (Etch) on your server. Typically installing software on Debian is as easy as “apt-get install freeradius” but since OpenSSL’s license doesn’t comply with Debian’s adherence to the GPL we must compile our own deb packages with support for EAP-TLS and PEAP. But fear not, it is extremely easy to make our own custom packages. For non-Debian users you can skip this section.
First we’ll need a place to work, so I created a directory:

Then I dist-upgrade Sarge to Etch and followed this tutorial.
Now I can use the new freeradius server for MW pptp server and MPPE works like it should.
So thats cool but now I can't use this freeradius server anymore for the MW captive portal.

Before, with the standard Sarge freeradius package, I could use it for both pptp and captive portal.
Now I can pptp with mppe but can't use captive portal with the freeradius server, I can't loggin.

What is going on here?
