Before I started using monowall I had my connection set up throu adsl modem that was in router mod. I had the same ports forwarded on modem and remote administrator control worked. Now I connect to internet throu monowall that is connected to that same adsl modem that is now set in bridge mode but I can't connect to my computer with remote administrator control anymore. I forwarded same port on monowall.

Can't anyone help me?

If you are wanting to forward traffic from entering the WAN port from the internet to your PC, you will need a NAT entry in the inbound NAT forwarding traffic on TCP port 3389 to the PC in question.  I would also advise letting it create the rule for you.  You will then have to make sure that the allow rule is before any block all rules, as they are processed in order.

This is quite an unsecure way of doing it.  Have you though about using Monowall's VPN capabilities?

I'm new as of last night to MW and I have VPN and other services running perfectly. Concerning the VPN, just read and follow the instructions exactly. I had RDP set up but, I was able (and feel safer) to get VPN setup with no issues.

If you need help with it, please contact me via PM here.

Michael

EDIT: I just realized that this was an old post. I hope you have it working by now. Smiley
