Hi all.

Long time m0n0wall user here.  Love it to death.  Recently, I've noticed that a telnet application that I use will drop its connection after a period of inactivity (I've not measured it to be exact).  The application does not have an option to keep the session alive.

I run 1.3b15 on a Soekris 4801.  I first noticed the telnet dropping issue under Mac OS 10.5.  But I have been able to replicate it with Windows Vista and Windows XP.

Not sure if this is a setting I need to change or a bug.  My laptop (said XP machine) does not have this issue when directly connected to the cable modem.

Thoughts?

Thanks in advance for your help and time.

*bump*
I've also noticed this to be an issue when using SSH as well.  It isn't too bad if I use Putty in a Windows VM because I can get a keep alive going on.  But on a command line version of SSH I don't have a keep alive option.
