Simply put, I am having an issue getting the floppy image to work on VMware ESX using 1.3b15. In 1.235 it works just fine. I am using the same floppy image that the 1.235 image uses. Also tried making a new image for just 1.3b15.

Attached is a screen shot of the console when it is booting. Couldn't find much information on the error relating to floppy drives. I am guessing this is more of a FreeBSD hardware support issue rather than m0n0wall. But wondering if anyone might have some input.

Thanks!

Hello Eger

Did you find any solution for this problem?
I searched through the ESX forum as well, but did not find any hints.

Nope. I am recently starting to upgrade ESX hosts to vSphere / ESXi 4.0 so I will test 4.0 soon to see if there is better FreeBSD support. For firewall I started using Endian Firewall on a VM instead fo m0n0 since it is based on Linux and works a little better. But I would really prefer m0n0wall as it is a much smaller footprint and generally easier and more intuitive to work with Smiley
