Hi all

I have read that it is not recommend to open the WebGUI of the m0n0wall from outside.
But I need this feature because the ALIX Firewall will not be used here.
Now I have tried it which will work but I think there will be a lot of attacks in future.

So there my question:

Is there a way to access to the m0n0wall WebGUI from outside (WAN) over a PPTP connection?

sure. Set up a pptp VPN as explained by the PPTP VPN screencast http://m0n0.ch/wall/screencasts.php, then once your VPN from the outside is up, access the GUI using m0n0wall's LAN port IP Address.

Don't forget to add a Firewall rule for the PPTP VPN.
