I am having a bit of trouble with a westell 7500 modem running a business dsl line from verizon with a static IP. I tried setting the westell modem to bridge mode and letting the monowall log into the dsl account but there is no where to put the static IP info on the monowall that I could see. What am I missing? Thank you for your help.

See: Interfaces (assign) WAN. There you have the choice of Type:

Static
DHCP
PPPoE
PPTP

Choose wisely  Wink

Usually, with static IP addresses on DSL lines (PPPoE/PPTP), there's no need to tell your firewall about the IP address - your ISP will make sure to assign the same address each time you connect.

I figured that out with AT&T (BellSouth). They set the IP to the username/password. Once you authenticate, your device (dsl modem/router/MW) is assigned the static IP.
