I am booting M0n0wall version cdrom-1.235 from a CD with the configuration on a floppy disk.  Recently I write protected the floppy to protect the configuration.  M0n0wall started posting log errors trying to write to the floppy.  Watching the floppy activity after a normal boot or re-boot the floppy will be accessed once about 90 seconds after M0n0wall becomes active. I can then remove or write protect the disk with no more errors.  Any idea of what is being written to the floppy?  I was using an earlier version with the floppy write protected and it did not exhibit this behavior.  If I leave the floppy write protected M0n0wall will fail after about three days with the logs full of write errors to the floppy. Huh
