Hi guys !!

I have a system that is yelling about hard errors on FDC0.
It got stuffed during a lightning strike.

I have tried inserting a newly formattted  disk, but can't get to the admin interface . . . XML error: mismatched tag at line 176

M0n0wall is still running hence this Internet access still going.

I would appreciate some ideas before the next power outage in Africa Smiley Smiley
I suspect a reboot would be disastrous, so ....

Is there some way I can get the config dumped from the console or not ?
(Only numbers 1-6 that I see)

Ideas and answers here or preferably to :

 or
 robin- AT-technolibrium.co.za

TIA:
Robin

Is there some reason you can not download the configuration from a web browser on a machine connected to the LAN? Or is the floppy problem preventing that somehow?

I read his issue as the floppy diskette is no longer usable. Being a newbie myself (as of last night), I believe the back up of the xml config (through webgui) is read from the floppy and saved on the desktop. So, if the floppy is messed up, he will not be able to save a copy of the xml config.

My m0n0 is on flash, so there is no floppy involved. But it seems to me that the config.xml file is read into memory and might still be there.

What happens on your system when you go to this URL:

http://m0n0.ip.address/status.php#config.xml

That will show you a copy of the configuration file. The question is, did it come off the floppy or did it come out of RAM?
