i have a weird problem with my m0n0wall box,
The computer it connects to duel boots debian/xp, i can connect to the dhcp with both.

However if i have been using xp then restart into debian i nolonger get an ip and have to restart the m0n0wall box for the network to work again with debian.

The computer gets it's ip from the dhcp server.

thanks

Why do you think the m0n0wall is the problem?
Does Debian/XP have the same hostnames? They are using the same NIC/MAC I assume?
Tried renewing the lease in Debian?
