Hey guys, I'm not if anyone has done this yet or not, but I really wanted to make my router a VM so I can toy w/ other router solutions w/o doing any physical work (I'm in a chair, not lazy  Tongue)

I was able to get my Opt1, and LAN connected fine, but I wasnt able to get my Comcast Cable WAN to work. The machine (windows 2008 running VMware server 2.0) was assigned a public IP from the cable modem, but I couldnt get m0n0wall to take that same IP. I basically bridged 1 NIC per interface and everything seemed to work fine. I did get an IP conflict error but it was talking about 192.168.10.x which is not even a subnet I have anywhere, not even in m0n0wall's NAT or DHCP, so I'm at a loss.

Any suggestions?

I'm having the same problem, but not under VM. What version of monowall are you using? I'm using the latest beta, 1.3b15.
