Does anyone know if m0n0 supports two wireless interfaces on the same box? Reason being I want two seperate SSIDs and different firewall rules for each wireless interface.

I would like to use two wireless cards on an alix board but didn't want to buy if it isn't going to work.

Running two b/g radios in the same box is generally considered a bad idea. See Netgate's FAQ http://www.netgate.com/zz_faq.php#76
Virtual APs might be a solution, but this won't be supported until FreeBSD 8.x IIRC.

Never tested, but I think this is possible. Mono see two cards and you can configure these how you want.

But, as gadago has said, two cards in the same box is not a good idea (because of the RF waves)

Okay, so as long as m0n0 supports this, I suppose the only way to fnd out how well it works it by doing it.

I presume to best way to reduce interference between the two will be to set each minipci card on different wireless channels? e.g. one channel 1 and the other on channel 11?
