Hi,
we are currently using a draytek 2950 with 40 ipsec vpn's to remote sites. it has a dual load balanced adsl2+ near to the exchange so we're getting full speed with no dropouts on both.
the lan side has 4 ethernet ports which are port based vlan'd (not 802.1q) as there are 3 x departments using the same router
it can also only manage 1 lan and therefore ipsec tunnels have full access to the lan as we cannot restrict it down to say /26 instead of /24
so for a test......
we were thinking of installing monowall on an old watchguard x500 box (compact flash install)
so my questions are:
1. can monowall handle multiple lan subnets?
2. can these be vlan'd?
3. can the incoming ipsec traffic be restricted to a subnet/vlan?
4. does monowall support load balance/failover on the wan?

any pointers would be appreciated.
thank you
louis

No, m0n0wall does not support multiple WAN links. Have a look at pfsense instead.
