Hello,

im intrested in using m0n0wall on a alix 2d3 board.
Since my provider offers me a real 100mbit connection at home (11mb download), im intrested in wheather the software and hardware can throughput this speed or not.
My Providers router doesnt, so i am looking for an alternativ. (m0n0wall will create a pppoe connection)

Thanks,
joh

ALIX will max out at about 80-85 Mbps, so you'll get close. With a faster system you can do 100 Mb wire speed (~92 Mbps).

ok, since my "real" 100mbit cable connection only throughputs 80-88mbits i can accept that..

thanks a lot!
