Hi all,

About a year ago i made the decision to step over to an embedded monowall system.  I throw out my crappy modem/router and replaced it by a separate modem linked to an embedded alix system running monowall.
Everthing worked fine (and is still working fine)...but i wanna tweak it some more.

When i go to the webgui from monowall (on the alix)...working perfect!
When i want to go to the webgui from my modem...no access...

I figured out it's a problem as the modem is not in the lan, but on the wan-side.  Now, every time i have to change something, i connect the modem directly to my pc, but i'm pretty sure there should be a way to do it from inside my lan...

=> How can i access the webgui from my modem (on the wan-side) from inside my lan-network through monowall?

Hope someone can help me with this...

Thanks in advance!

Greatings,

Philippe Poppe

Thanks!

I'll try it out...

EDIT

I've tried it, but no success...

Some extra info about how things are configured here.

ISP (fixed ip) => modem (ip & webgui = 192.168.1.1) =>WAN=> alix with monowall (ip & webgui = 192.168.1.2)
     =>LAN=> switch => computers + network printer & scanner
     =>WLAN (bridged with LAN) => computers
     (ip's all in the range 192.168.1.xxx)
In the near future also the DMZ will be used...connected to a server.
