Topic: IPv6 access to WebGUI non-functional in 1.3b18?  (Read 1040 times)

Today I tried to get IPv6 working on the WAN interface of my M0n0wall
1.3b18 installation so that I could access the WebGUI via IPv6 (I can
currently access it via IPv4 just fine).  Note that this is the first time I've
ever tried using the IPv6 capabilities of the M0n0wall beta.

I enabled IPv6, statically configured the IPv6 addresses on both the WAN
and LAN interfaces (even though I won't be using IPv6 on LAN, I read an
earlier post that indicated you needed to configure IPv6 addresses on
both interfaces in order for it to work on M0n0wall).

I'm running on a fully IPv6 enabled network here (i.e., our routers
broadcast RA's and all client systems autoconfigure their addresses via
SLAAC), so I disabled RA on both M0n0wall interfaces.

I also added in a blanket exception into the IPv6 firewall config to
allow ALL inbound/outbound IPv6 traffic to pass on both the WAN and LAN
interfaces.

However, for some reason IPv6 just doesn't seem to work.  I can't ping6
anything successfully, not even ::1, on either the WAN or LAN
interfaces.  Any ideas about what I might be doing wrong or forgetting?

Thanks!
