hi

I've been trying to built a captive portal for the school i work for. The plan is to have a seperate wireless network for the guests that will connect through m0n0wall with the ticket authentication mechanism.

The school staff will continue connecting through the main wireless network and authenticate against the Radius Server we already running.

Since m0n0wall already supports Radius server would it be possible to have just one wireless network and use both the captive portal option(with ticket authentication) for the guests and the radius authentication for the school staff?

I've been trying to figure out a way to do this with m0n0wall but can't seem to be getting anywhere!  Huh

Any help would be really appreciated!

Ok

I think I am getting somewhere now. It looks like you can do both.

The questions is: After I enable Radius Authentication, how do I authenticate? Can I use the user/pass form on the captive portal page?

Also do I need to enable m0n0wall as client on my Radius Server?

Anyone please!! Sad

Also does anyone know what this means?

"kernel: ipfw2 (+ipv6) initialized, divert loadable, rule-based forwarding enabled, default to accept, logging disabled" ?

I can get to the portal page but after about a minute I get disconnected and get the above message on the logs
