Hi,
I just try to send the logs to a remote server.
The server is running fine,
BUT my m0n0wall does NOT have a "Settings" option

Some posts pointed to  DIAGNOSTIC - LOG - SETTINGS, but
there is no settings

My Hardware is a GENERIC PC , booted from CF
Version is 1.3b18

Thanks,

Mcih'l

Mine does.  Expand the diagnostics menu on the left, click on Logs and settings is the 6th tab.

The Diagnostic - LOG is viewable ( as shown in the PDFs)
BUt I do have only
   SYSTEM
   Firewall
   DHCP
   Captive portal
   PPTP VPN

There is nothing for Settings.

On another systemI do have the settings.

both with all types of browsers
  Linux Opera / FireFox
XinXP IE / Opera / FireFox

and there is nothing in th html code, so it is not the browser, it has to be the FW GUI

Are you logging in with the admin username or a locally defined one?

Under User Manager/Groups you can define exactly which screens each group is allowed to access.
