Hi, I've just tried monowall, it's great for what I need (a captive portal).
The problem is that every time I restart the system, the log section of the captive portal is empty.
Is there a way to keep the logs even if the sistem restart or is this a bug?

Thanks in advance!

It certainly isn't a bug. m0n0wall runs entirely in memory, so the logs are written to memory too. The only thing not committed to transient memory is the configuration file.

If you want permanence for logs, then enable syslog'ing to a remote syslog server.

isn't there a way to save this logs to hard drive? If it's so easy for the configuration file it should be easy for the logs....

It is impossible to save logs to hard disk. This is by design.
You can use remote syslog server as recommended above (inside or outside LAN).
