Hello Community,

at first Sorry for ma bad English, my english is not the best. I Hope u all can understand me.

I have installed an Monowall Router in VmWare.

My Monowall got 1x Lan Interface ( ip: 192.168.199.253) , 1x Wan Interface, 1 x Opt1 Interface ( ip: 192.168.198.253)

The Router only have to route two Subnets:

Subnet 1: 192.168.199.x
Subnet 2: 192.168.198.x



In Subnet 1 i have like 10 Clients and in Subnet 2 i have 5 Clients.

I can not ping from Subnet 1 to SUbnet 2 and not from Subnet 2 in Subnet 1 .

What i do wrong ?

You must have Firewall Rules in place to allow traffic between subnets. Look thru the m0n0wall Handbook to see how this is done.

Absolutely if you want to.  By default you will have a Lan to Any rule.  Add a similar one for the opt network and you will be fine.
