Hey everyone, I need some major help. I just installed m0n0wall to a system here running off a dedicated system.

My bandwidth without m0n0wall was averaging 150KBPS, but ever since I have the firewall running it has been cut down to only 16KBPS Download Speed. I don't know what the problem is.

Here is how the network is setup:

Internet ----> M0N0Wall ----> Server running WINS / DHCP / DNS and Active Directory, Domain Controler ----> Local Area Network (LAN)

Internet is coming in the WAN interface, and goes out to the network on the LAN Interface.

When I look at the WAN Graph, it shows that 129KBPS is coming in, but only 21KBPS is coming out to the network.

The system's CPU load only averages between 2 and 7% max load.

I even tried using different NICs but the problem still remains.

System Specks are:

Dell OptiPlex GX110
CPU - 955MHz
RAM - 128MB
2 Ethernet Cards

Thanks in advance,
Seth M.

have you tried different hardware? It could be caused by a service you are running. Have you check the logs? (system and service)

Im not seeing a system & service link on my M0n0wall web GUI. Were you referring to hardware is in my network interfaces?
