Hi Fredg,
I was the same problem, in my case that works only if I use the default admin user, with another administrator account   create by the menu user manager,   it doesn't work.
( my configuration Alix 3 lan interfaces, m0n0wall 1.3 )

Ding ding ding....BINGO. Thanks pat2003.

I can conform this behavior. Logging in with username: admin and Secondary IPs can be configured. Logging in as another user and Secondary IPs cannot be configured.

I believe this is a genuine bug.

Unable to confirm here unfortunately. The secondary IP screen works with the default admin account as others have said, I then created another username (clear out all the firefox cache and preferences, restart firefox browser), login as that new username, go to the same section and the Secondary IP screen still comes up as it should, no redirection to the wrong place or anything.

Running 1.3-Release Generic PC image

I've attached a screenshot to show, you know it's a user account because on the left side is the "user password" screen for users to set their password.

New behavior for 1.31.

Instead of immediately redirecting to the System information page, the screen clears for a brief pause which displays the following text:

401 Unauthorized
Authorization required.

It then continues on to the System information page.

Yes, that's correct.

Pre 1.31 when you went to a page you weren't authorised for, it just redirected you to index.php.  now from 1.31 it gives you that message before redirect so you know what's going on.

As these pages for secondaries are introduced since 1.30. Upgrades from older versions require you to add them to your permitted pages list.

OK, I'll bite. In Firefox 3.6 I enabled "Warn me when web sites try to redirect or reload the page.

When I click on the Secondary IPs tab, Firefox shows the "401 Unauthorized Authorization required" text and throws up a bar saying Firefox prevented the redirection. On this bar is an Allow button, which I press. Then it goes on to the System information page just like before.

I get the same "401 Unauthorized Authorization required" and redirection using IE 8 which I have never used before.

On CentOS 5.4 Linux with Firefox 3.0.18 and Konqueror 3.5.3-20 browsers, I get identical behavior. Neither of those browsers had ever been to my m0n0wall box before.

You mention adding the URL for the Secondary IPs tab to my permitted pages list. What list is this? Where do I find it in Firefox 3.6 for Windows?

Care to post a detailed solution if you have one?
