Hello forum,

a customer asked me to configure his monowall (vers 1.235 ) running on a soekris 4801 box remotely. Unfortunately i don't have physical access to this box.

Now I would like to update the monowall to the most recent version. sadly my customer does not know the size of the installed cf card.

Is there a way to detemine the size of the cf card remotely?

If you can access it remotely or he can access it locally, then

Go to the undocumented URL:

https://routerip/exec.php     or

http://routerip/exec.php

Then run the following command:

dmesg


On mine, the IDE Flash RAM is identified near the very bottom of the output:

ad0: 15MB <PQI IDE DiskOnModule db01.17a> at ata0-master BIOSPIO
