how would i be able to ssh into monowall or how ever i would be able to connect to it remotely..i see others have some sort of a ssh screen for like diagnostics, what do i do to get there

There is no SSH daemon in m0n0wall. If you want to connect to the GUI from the WAN, you have to explicitly enable this capability. It is not a default configuration. See:
