Has anyone been able to successfully setup a home group in Windows 7 or use the View network map application in Windows 7 while using a Monowall router?

Thanks
Andrew

yes, the protocol win7 uses doesn't involve the router at all.

Each time I try to connect two computers using homegroup it says that there is a network problem that it can't solve.  Are you able to use the network map application on the "Network and Sharing Center" page

yes, are your PCs connected to the same switch?

All of my internal networks PCs are behind a sr224 switch and the monowall is my edge device.

Soekris net 5501 with 1 port as WAN and 3 ports as LAN on of the 3 ports is used to go to a Dlink DAP-1522 which is configured as an AP with a four port switch built in.  On computer is on the Soekris and the other has been plugged in to the switch the soekris and on the wireless

network map relies on multicast anouncements which I've found to be unreliable in mono over bridged connections.

Also, firewalls also cause the network map problems.
