Hello,

Are the latest version of Monowall manages multicast between interfaces?
If yes how to set Monowall for this to work?

If not, is that the support of multicast and planned for future versions?

thank you for your help!

Hello,

I have the same problem as enzoribellu.

I know since long time that m0n0 is not ready for multicast (see http://forum.m0n0.ch/index.php/topic,3395.0.html#msg11344).

This problem is still multicast problem, but it is a little bit different because this happend when an interface is bridged with another.

In my setup, WLAN is bridged with LAN. In my mind, this mean that all the traffic can go from LAN to WAN and vice-versa (with correct firewall setup), aka an Access Point linked to ethernet LAN network.
But in m0n0 when multicast is sent from WAN to LAN, I can see blocked packet in firewall log.

Any solution in the future ?

Thank you !
