does monowall support bandwidth management? I need this to prioritize VOIP.

Regards,

Yes, there is a traffic shaper available.

How can it be configured? Can i specify a protocol or does it only work with certain ports or the IP adress of the device in the lan?

There is some information in the m0n0wall Handbook on how to set it up: http://doc.m0n0.ch/handbook/trafficshaper.html

Thanks iridris

To be honest, this does not look like a lot of work has been spent on building a trafic shaping GUI. Or maybe it's just not very much documentet.
But thanks for posting.

The traffic shaper is a very powerful tool which does exactly what it is supposed to do: prioritize traffic and manage bandwidth.

Perhaps you are looking for a one click "make VIOP important" button? In which case I would suggest you spend $500 and purchase a sonicwall NSA.
