Hi,

I'm unable to ping WAN interface of m0n0wall from my PC that was connected into the WAN interface's network. I configured static IP on my PC within the same subnet, but still unable to ping the m0n0wall's WAN IP. Already unchecked the option box to block private IP address. Set a rule to pass TCP packets from WAN subnet to LAN subnet, but LAN network is still unreachable from WAN network. Seems like the rules, for example: source 172.16.0.0 to destination 172.16.1.0 network are not working in anyway it should be.

Any advice?

Regards.

It seems that I have the same problem ... isn't really a problem, but I would like to understaind.

I have the internal IP address of the modem which is 10.0.0.138 and the IP address of the WAN port of the m0n0 is 10.0.0.139.

Everithing works perfect except that I can not see the web server of the modem ( http://10.0.0.138 ) trough any PC connected to the 3 networks of the m0n0 ( DMZ, LAN, WIF ). The only way is connect a PC directly to the MODEM port with proper IP configuration and than works.

Thank for anybody answer.

There's no a second possibility to make a good first impression.

Just wondering why the rule which I set to pass WAN subnet's IP address into LAN subnet didn't work. For example: a device connected to LAN network (10.10.0.1) was still  unaccessible from a PC connected to WAN network with IP address 10.10.1.1. Looks like the firewall rule was not working at all.
