Hi-

I recently installed m0n0wall on Soekris net 5501. Only the first two ports, Eth0 and Eth1 work. Is there any reason, why the other two ports Eth2 and Eth3 on Soekris box don't work?

M0n0wall Version: 1.33

Thanks
Sridhar

They should work. Did you configure them from the console or the WebGUI?

Try this and see what happens. Reconfigure such that your WAN and LAN are now on eth2 and eth3 and disable eth0 and eth1. Do they work now? If so, try enabling eth0 and eth1 one at a time and see if they work too.

How do I reconfigure ports for interfaces? In the web GUI management, I see "Interfaces (assign)"... But, that is for assigning IP-address blocks. Is there a way to enable/disable the interfaces.

Thanks

Click on Interfaces (assign), not the LAN and WAN below. From there you change the ports used via the drop down lists.
