Howdy,
I am the IT Manager for a 100 user company.

I have used M0n0wall in my personal domain I (on a PIII) for about 5 years (I think I have rebooted it twice in that time).

We have internet service from 2 ISPs (bonded T1 from ATT, 28/5 Cable from Comcast).

the crappy NetGear pretend enterprise router is dying (yay) and I want to replace it with something I trust, know and Love.

Any plans to support multiple ISP WANs in the near future???

It pains me to recommend $800 for a Sonicwall etc. when I can make an OLD p4 do everything we would need from a Router.

I can't speak to what enhancements are considered for inclusion or when they might appear in m0n0wall.

But if you must have this capability now and want to continue on with a fork of m0n0wall that has this feature now, consider pfsense. It won't cost you $800, and perhaps someday you may be able to come back to m0n0wall if and when the feature added.

(I really dislike pointing people away from m0n0wall.)

Fred, is PFSense derived from monowall but with other developers ??
Does pfsense include WAN loadbalancing or ISP trunking anyway ?

Thank you

pfsense was forked from m0n0wall quite some time ago. It is being developed by others with perhaps a few that work on both projects.

As to its capabilities, please visit its own web site. The features page is here:

I still dislike pointing people away from m0n0wall  Embarrassed
