Hi All...

i need your help with a project i have, and would like to use m0n0wall for all routing on some PCegnines hardware.

im setting up a wisp and have been given a range of subnets and ip from the back bone provider to give to my clients.

i need a router between my WISP network and the ISP provider which allows all allocated IPs to be accessed behind it.

i plan to subnet them out so each radio tower has 64 addresses behind a second m0n0wall router with DHCP on.

the second router will give out addresses to clients routers and the clients router will give out a standard 192.168.x.x address so that all computers behind that router cane get online and present one of the ips i have from my provider to the outside world.

i need all the routers to be transparent but with dhcp running from each tower router etc..

i also need all the IPs allocated to my clients routers to be pingable from the internet etc...

Any help... Many Thanks.

Well, You could do that.
But, have in mind the default state table size.
If You're doing a core router + edge routers configuration You might find Yourself in a situation where the core router has more than 30000 simultaneous connections and it cannot handle more.
So a custom m0n0 core router build or something else could get the job done.
