Is there any way to change the name of the image file created, rather than generic-pc?  From what little I understand and have red it looks to pull the platform and versions together, version is a file I can change and tihs works fine, but the only time I can see platform is after the image has been created and I go into the image to edit it direclty, but of course this is after the fact so pointless.

thanks

Are you using the webui to upgrade? If you are, I've read the following inside the m0n0wall image from scratch guide. http://doc.m0n0.ch/dev/image-guide.html

Rename the image as per standard m0n0wall conventions to make sure that the webGUI firmware upgrade works (which insists that the filename starts with the platform name followed by a dash):

I just noticed you wanted to specify an image name prior to build time. Guess the info I provided would be useless to you.
