Hi,

i need to get the client machine MAC & IP address from monowall (as a variable or any orther format) to my webserver while the client are getting captive portal page.

PS: I think i got it.
You could add syslog server and send the logs there among the data there should be DHCP leases logs with IP and MAC in them from that particular interface that You are running the captive portal on.

There are two ways to pull that data; Syslog and Radius.  Both will give the IP when login in, and Radius can give the mac as well.  (You can derive it from syslog too, but it will take a bit more work.)

thnx for your reply

if the users got successful authentication from the radius server then only we can able to get the client details. but i need the client details who are all getting dhcp and trying to access the captive portal before authentication.
