Hello, I set up a regular tower with 3 nics and put m0n0wall on it. I set up all the rules to mimick out 3com superstack 3 firewall. I had it set up on its own seperate network with lan - dmz - wan and everything worked great. I went to replace the superstack with m0n0 wall and the wan and dmz interfaces worked but the lan was showing a flashing light on our switch.

I am very confused by this, this is my second attempt at replacing the superstack 3 firewall. The first try I used smoothwall with full firewall control mod and it did the same thing. Wan and dmz work but lan does not. For switches we are using 3com 4400 and they are stacked together. Any help would be great, we can plug the superstack 3 firewall back in and it works with no problem. Thanks

Are you plugging it into the same switch port as the old superstack firewall was plugged into?

The blinking link light sounds like a NIC, cabling or switch issue of some sort. Been a few years since I've seen a superstack switch, don't remember much about them.
