Can anyone tell me if the PhysGui (physdiskwrite gui) source code is available?  Or how I might contact the author Urs Zweifel?

I'm writing an application that needs to obtain disk geometry on windows.  Specifically, I need to be able to obtain such info for unformatted removable drives.  I have tried all different kinds of methods such as WMI, win32api, DeviceIOControl and none of them offer me the geometry information in such cases (I get info for only  formatted drives).

Yes, PhysGui is able to obtain this information somehow.

A user here has developed a similar program that I find much better than physgui. It is available here with source code. Perhaps it will provide what you are looking for:
