Hi all,

I currently have a few m0n0wall's running in a number of locations and all is going well so far.

One of my clients has a requirement to allow free wifi access but he wants the captive portal page to ask for their name and email address, then save that information to use for marketing.

Is it possible for m0n0 to do this or to have it email over the information each time someone connects?

Thanks

Naim

The easiest way to do this is to set up a RADIUS server.  That way, m0n0wall passes authentication off to RADIUS, and it can record the "password" which is your e-mail.  Do not be suprised when you get a lot of me@here.com addresses. Smiley

I have the same problem.
My clients have free access without authentication.
I wish that clients have to provide an email address then save this txt file.
How to do it without the use of a RADIUS server?

You also asked this in the Captive Portal section, and I answered you there.
