Below is a description of how I have wired my network.
My goal is to have me able to connect to my original home wireless network and my kid to be forced through monowall via an access point.
Currently I connect to my home network but can't see the monowall side.  But if I connect to the monowall AP, I can ping and access the AP and monowall box but cannot get on the net.
Any suggestions would be appreciated, thx!

Cable modem connects to wireless router
1 nic in monowall box connects to wireless modem via switch (not enough ports on the wireless router for all devices)
Other monowall nic connects to the lan port of the ap (it's actually a second wireless router I set up as an ap by giving it an ip adress on the same subnet asw\ the other wireless router)
wireless router ip is 192.168.0.1
ap ip is 192.168.0.50
monowall lan nic is 192.168.0.49
monowall wan nic is 192.168.0.48
both wireless router an ap have different ssid and both require wpa2 passwords

Resolved my issue by adding a network cable between the router and the AP.
