Hi everyone,

is it supported to rename the LAN-interface or to bind the GUI to another interface (OPTn) than the LAN-interface?
Could not find it and start to guess both answers are "no".

The idea behind this is, that I have setup up an admin-(V)LAN which is the only network on which  sshd listening on my servers, the switches listen only on that one, and so on.... so I would like to make m0n0wall's GUI listen only on that network, too. But at the same time I would like to call it what it is - the admin's network, not the LAN for everybody. Is this supported?

Thanks!
Sascha

I do not know of any way to rename the LAN interface.  That said, if you turn off the anti-lockout rule, you can remove access to the gui.  And all you have to do to allow access to the gui on any interface is allow it in the firewall.
