My DNS provider uses a homegrown system for updating DNS, so the existing options under Services: Dynamic DNS aren't usable. Right now i'm using a wget command that runs as a cron job on a Linux server. With the new Scheduler i thought i could run that command on m0n0wall, but wget doesn't seem to be installed on m0n0wall. Is there a simple way to install binaries on m0n0wall? I'm using m0n0wall 1.8.1

Who is your Dynamic DNS provider? Is there a reason you can't use one of the Dynamic DNS providers directly supported by m0n0wall?

It's possible to modify m0n0wall images in a FreeBSD environment, so it may be possible to include a proper wget. But I am not aware of anyone doing it and I wouldn't call it simple.

What provider?  The "custom" setting works fr quite a few of them.  I am using it with no-ip now.

Thank you for the quick answers.

The supplier is space2u.com.

I have tried with DynDNS (custom) to no avail. A guy from space2u suggested wget.

Using a different provider is definitely an option. I haven't looked into that yet, can you recommend a good one that works with m0n0wall?
