We have a bunch of PC's inhouse connected to a standard switch which goes to a normal CISCO router and out to the internet. No private IPs or VOIP or any weird stuff.

  [PC's]----->------{switch}------>-----[router]------>------[internet]

We just want to insert a m0n0wall box in between the switch and the router, we already built it and got it running with two nic cards.

What is the simplest config we need to do, without any special filtering or traffic shapping so we can at least get the firewall inplace.  We have a full class c (123.123.123.xxx) so
we need all IPs to be public as they are now.

Thanks for any guidance.

The easiest would be a mono in filtering bridge mode, but I don't think you can bridge wan to lan. You could add a third nic, call it opt1 or whatever, and bridge it to the wan, ignoring the lan.

Bridge would definitely be the easiest. See this for info
