I've had this issue for some time now and it is really getting to annoy me.  I am running M0n0 1.22 on a Soekris 4501.    My FTP server is a Ubuntu 6.06LTS machine.  If I am behind the M0n0 device on the LAN I can use my FTP client all day long with no problems.  If I am at my home and either use a PTP VPn or just connect to my external IP to the office, I will not get more than 1 (one) upload to the server.  I have tried two different clients with the same result.  Can someone explain to me what I might be able to do to correct this?  It is driving me nuts.

Thanks alot

have you tried comming in through different locations? did you make sure you opened up both 21 and 20 with tcp and udp? i think sometimes if you use tls/ssl or other ftp settings they use different ports (989, 990)...

anyways good luck!
